Easy Spring Craft Project

I don't decorate for St. Patrick's Day or Easter.  Instead I opt to just bring out some Spring decor.

Remember these?  Now that Valentine's is over I need something to replace the mail boxes.

So, I raided my stash and found these.  I had picked them up at Michael's dollar spot.  Correction............$1.50 spot.  They raised their prices awhile ago.  Not much there for a buck anymore.

I also had this that I found at Dollar Tree last spring.  That's what I do............pick up stuff and stash it until I find a use for it.

After painting the houses I glued the moss onto the roofs, using my good old glue gun.  It was very easy to cut the moss using scissors.

Using tacky putty I stuck them onto the tops of the candlestick holders.  I kind of wish I hadn't painted the one gray since the holders are gray.  I didn't think about it when I painted them.  Oh well.  I still think they look nice.

What do you think?

Thanks for visiting.
