I don't decorate for St. Patrick's Day or Easter. Instead I opt to just bring out some Spring decor.
Remember these? Now that Valentine's is over I need something to replace the mail boxes.
So, I raided my stash and found these. I had picked them up at Michael's dollar spot. Correction............$1.50 spot. They raised their prices awhile ago. Not much there for a buck anymore.

I also had this that I found at Dollar Tree last spring. That's what I do............pick up stuff and stash it until I find a use for it.

Using tacky putty I stuck them onto the tops of the candlestick holders. I kind of wish I hadn't painted the one gray since the holders are gray. I didn't think about it when I painted them. Oh well. I still think they look nice.
What do you think?
Thanks for visiting.
I'm sharing here:

These are really cute! I love the blue that you painted the one birdhouse. I can't believe you found them for only $1.50!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicky. I know............$1.50? That's insane. I always try to pick up things at a low price. :)

Thanks Deb. Dollar Tree has just about everything. I always check them first!
DeleteVery cute!!! I tend to do that as well, grab something on sale and then find a use for it later! haha
ReplyDeleteWooden birdhouses are always a fun crafting project. So many ways to decorate - kids really love doing this.
