Rusty Heart Designs has passed the Liebster Blog award onto me along with ten other bloggers.  So, thank you Audra and Denise!

This award acknowledges up and coming bloggers for outstanding accomplishments within design that is presented on their blog.

11 Random facts about myself:

1.  I am adopted.

2.  I am an only child.

3.  I could eat pizza every day.  I don't, but I could.

4.  I watch and enjoy Dance Moms.

5.  I am allergic to shrimp.

6.  I so enjoy an ice cold Coors Light on a hot day.

7.  I have been to 23 states.  Okay, some of them we just drove through, but  I've been there.

8.  I am afraid of the dark.  Not inside dark..........outside dark.

9.  I dance to music when I'm home alone. 

10.I enjoy puzzle games.

11.I am a choc-holic.

 

Here are the questions that Audra & Denise asked me:

1. What do you do to get decorating inspiration? Pinterest and other blogs.
2. What are your favorite decor magazines? I don't have any.  I get all my inspiration from the internet.
3. What are your favorite stores to buy pieces? T.J. Maxx and Target
4. Do you like to cook? and if so, what's your favorite dish? I do. My favorite dish is my homemade ham and noodles.
5. What seasons fall, spring, winter, or summer, do you enjoy decorating for?  Since Christmas is my favorite holiday to decorate for, it would have to be winter.
6. Do you like outdoor decorating or gardening at all? Yes.  We have raised beds for veggies and I have quite a few flower gardens.
7. Is there a blog that you visit often that gives you inspiration? Wow!  Do I have to pick just one?  There are several.  I do like Funky Junk Interiors style.  Although my house looks nothing like Donna's, I do like her style.
8. Do you have a favorite color, and does it show in your home? Purple.  Not a dark purple, more like lilac.  No, sadly I have no purple in my home.  My craft room is painted a very light lilac mist.  It's very serene to me.
9. Do you have any pets? We have 3 cats, Boo, Bessie and Baby.  They all came from the Humane Society.  And no, we didn't intentionally give them all names that begin with "B", it just happened. Bessie is Baby's mommy.  We went to get one cat to keep Boo company and came home with two.  I couldn't bear to separate them.  Baby was 6 weeks old and soooo tiny, thus the name Baby.  Bessie already had her name.  Boo was shortened from Abu.
10. Do you like to go out or stay in on a Friday night? Stay in.  I am definitely a homebody.
11. What room do you re-do the most often?  If you ask my husband he would say all of them.  I would say the kitchen.  We're in the process of re-doing it now.  Hopefully this will be the last time.
