I can't believe it's time to start thinking about decorating for Valentine's Day already. Can you?
I don't do a lot of decorating for this special day. I like to keep it sweet and simple.
Using the same idea as my Fall Blocks, I just finished some Valentine Love Blocks. Instead of cutting them 2x4, they were cut 4x4. Actually 3-3/4" x 3-3/4". 2x4's are really 3-3/4". Did you know that? I wanted them an even square.
I used a sponge brush and acrylic craft paints. Make sure you sand them first.
I used my Cricut to make a stencil. I chose sayings that were on candy conversation hearts.
After the paint dried, I sanded the blocks so they had that worn look that I love.
Now that you've seen how easy this is, make some for yourself.

Crazy that Valentine's day is just around the corner!?! These are super cute!
