I can't believe this is my first post of the New Year!
The hubs finally went back to work. He was on vacation until the 2nd. I had all these things planned that we would do. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. Boy, did we ever get dumped on. We were snowed in for most of his vacation and to top it all off, he had, actually still has a respiratory infection. Some vacation huh? We did manage to get out one day to do a little shopping and take in a movie. We also took down all our Christmas decorations. I still have a few things outside, but it's too cold and I'm a wuss.
I'm not ready to put anything up for Valentine's yet, maybe in another week or so. I'm enjoying the clean, simple look our home has right now.
I also haven't felt like doing any projects, maybe next week. Yeah, probably next week.

Happy New Year, Laurie! I've never been that much of a fan of snow (we left Canada to escape it in 1987 after 12 years of it!), but believe me that pic of yours looks almost inviting - after all the rain we've been having in the UK. Parts of us are in danger of seemingly sinking (the aquifers storing up the water underground are so darn full that they're now coming up to join the flood waters that are already covering parts of the country! We're OK-ish where we are - but for how long, one wonders!

Thank you Isobel. The snow is very beautiful at first and I do love having a white Christmas, but after a few months I'm over it. My husband will be retiring next year so we will be heading south next January.
